COUNTING THE MINUTES TO THE END OF JUNE
In this article, we are sending 97 550 thank yous to each and every person and company who supported our campaign to raise funds for the restoration of the clock tower at the Bellville Civic Centre. Every rand contributed has made it possible to get the clock working again for the first time in many years.
The Thundafund campaign, combined with our efforts to raise funds offline through conversations with, and commitments from so many people and businesses in Bellville, have reinforced the power of community collaboration. While we didn’t achieve our full target of R150 000 to complete the full scope outlined for phase 1, we have raised sufficient funding to start the project with the most important step – to get the clocks working again. We’re excited to announce that we’re about to #starttheclock.
