Wall of thanks

Have you seen the new mural on the side of the Theresa Court building at 37 Durban Road? Created by artist Wayne Beukes, the message behind the artwork is simple: We Thank You.

It was conceived as a way to express our deep gratitude to all the healthcare workers working tirelessly to help keep our communities safe at time of uncertainty and fear for the health of ourselves and our loved ones. While we stayed at home during lockdown, the frontline workers in our community were fighting to help those in need, often at risk to their own health and wellbeing.

This mural is a tribute, a resounding Thank You, to all the healthcare workers in Bellville and beyond. This is especially relevant as South Africa enters lockdown Level 4 once again, to try and stem the tide of covid-19 infections across the country. Please keep wearing your masks, keep sanitising your hands and keep your distance. let’s work to flatten the curve, together.

In related news, our CEO, Warren Hewitt, was invited to participate in a video production created by the Western Cape Government as an educational tool to help dispel myths about, and insitil confidence in, the vaccination process.  Share with your friends and colleagues, as a reminder of how much we all have a responsibility to keep ourselves and our communities safe.

Check it out here. And if you have a wall in Bellville you think would benefit from some creativity from our talented local artists, get in touch.
