The GTP and Voortrekker Road Corridor CID are looking for volunteers to help us create as many face masks as we can, to donate to those in the Bellville community who need them most.

Please see all details on this poster to help us flatten the curve, please contact

To date, we have distributed 2680 face masks with recipients including:

778 masks were delivered to MES that will be taken to the homeless at the Bellville parking.

250 masks were donated to three recipients of Bellville Night Shelter, Elim Night Shelter and MES. Masks have also been given to the following centres and organisations of Huis Andre van der Walt, Bellavista Old Age Home, CANSA.

Please watch this space as we will be distributing many more over the coming weeks to reach our goal of 5000 masks to help our community with this essential safety resource. Thank you to everyone who has donated masks with the masks being mandatory and playing a vital role for the present and future.

We received this thank you letter from Utilitas care home, Bellville in appreciation for the 500 cloth masks donated to their centre to protect their residents.
